In my current paintings, I am trying to put focus on some of the most vulnerable and hard-working people on the planet. Living with and working with these beautiful people has changed my thinking and changed who I am and how I see the world and it’s most important issues…. how we treat each other. I’ve come to appreciate their culture, their joy, their colors, and their drive to survive. They work so hard and complain so little. Maybe art and artists can amend history and tell a new story.
