Emerging Artist Application

**Welcome to the Inspirational Art Association's 15th Annual Christmas Season Art Showcase: "Emerging Artist" Award**

We invite you to submit your artwork for this year's prestigious event. Your piece will be displayed at no charge at the Utah State Capitol under the Rotunda on November 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2025.

The highlight of the event will be the presentation of the Emerging Artist Award, which includes a cash prize. This award will be announced on opening night during the dinner/VIP Private Artist Reception, where thirty renowned artists will showcase their original works.

Please note that all submissions must be original artwork, as the IAA promotes authenticity and creativity. AI-generated pieces will not be accepted. Submissions must measure 11"x10" or less and be framed for display. Each piece should include the following information: Artist's Name, Title of the Artwork, Medium Used, and Price (if applicable).

Please note that all artwork (not including the frame) submissions must be 11"x14" or smaller to be considered.

The IAA's commission structure is 80/20, (80% to artist) with all sales processed at the show. We handle the payment of the appropriate sales tax to the Utah State Tax Commission.  Please note that you are not obligated to sell your artwork, it's an option available to you.  You are only allowed one entry.

**Submission Deadline:** November 10th, 2025. All entries will be evaluated before the event.  

The winner will be notified before November 20th, 2025, and is expected to attend the opening night dinner gala at 5:00 p.m. to receive the award.
